Prepper Politics

My wife found this on Facebook and I thought it was a great idea.  So….. I built one.  This is what’s called a swamp cooler and it works.  I’m using this to cool my garage for my dogs in this intense heat.

This is scary to me – Important!

Knowing military exercises as I do, this story scares the crap out of me.  Why does the military need to do urban exercises on populated civilian streets?  Why are they doing the excercises so far from their home posts? Read more…

Has the federal government turned its back on our security?

Has the US federal government turned its back on out security in the name of political correctness?  Or maybe in the name of more votes?  When you look at our borders, both northern and southern, what do you see?  You see a porous line across the country that allows people to filter in and out almost without any challenge from legal authorities. The economy made me do it!

Bath salts abound.  People get high on them and do ridiculous things like eat people’s faces and kill others.  Now, these aren’t real bath salts, they’re designer drugs nicknamed as such.  I call them zombies since the drug makes them act as if they came out of a zombie movie like 28 Days Later. Fight or Flight

You’ve all heard the term “fight or flight” when it comes to survival and fear.  Well, there’s a reason for the term.  When you’re in danger, you have to decide whether to stand your ground and fight the threat or run and escape it.  Neither one is necessarily better than the other, in itself.  It all depends on you and your situation.

You Know Prepping is Big Business When…

You know prepping has become big business when Wal-Mart is selling Mountain House storable foods.  There is obviously something going on in order for good ol’ Wally World to start selling things like this, besides profit.

Although profit would be their driving factor, Wal-Mart would want to see that there is sustainable demand for such a product.  They’re not going to allow a company to have valuable shelf space to a company or product that isn’t going to move.
